What makes you smile?

In the midst of your day, as you face trials and challenges in your routine, is there something that will always make you smile?

Some days are easier than others to see the love of God. The sun is shining, the breeze is at your back and all seems well in the world. A smile comes easily to your face and spreads the love of God to others. Smiles are contagious. They multiply. Smiles are free to share and if you're well connected they'll never run out.

My question today is, where can you turn for a guaranteed smile? What is your never fail, can't fight it if you tried, joy producer?

For me, it's what I call the "Promise Parade". Our church baptizes alot of babies. Each weekend there are three or four little ones welcomed into God's family. The baptism is part of our worship service and we all have the honor of witnessing this gift. As the Pastors present these new children of God to those watching from the pews, they pass up and down the aisles with babes in arm. Newly adopted children of God, lives full of promise, faces bright with hope. God has imprinted His dream for their lives on each of their tiny hearts. Their entire life lay ahead of them to fulfill that purpose. The "Promise Parade". Even when they cry, the experience never fails to make me smile.

You don't have to look too far to find people in need of hope, encouragement and love. Discover your font of endless joy. Let that smile fill you face and share it with everyone you meet.

"Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us..." Ephesians 5:1-2

Dogs in cars always make me smile too :O)
